The Green Corn Rebellion, a 1935 novel by William Cunningham, has been republished by the University of Oklahoma Press. The novel is a fictonalized account of a World War I uprising by poor Oklahoma farmers against military conscription. The new edition includes an introduction by Prof. Nigel Sellars of Christopher Newport University. |
